Tea for THREE

On May 15, 2015 Bria turned three. She requested a tea party with a few friends to celebrate. We sure do love these European birthdays and having friends of many different nationalities present. I asked a wonderfully talented friend to make her cake, and she blew everyone away with the final product (and it was delicious!). Here are some pictures from the special day:

The guest of honor, and brother, all dressed for tea!

I love the German tradition of bringing the birthday girl or boy flowers.

Jacob and his friend Levi, from German school, sharply dressed for tea with the ladies.
Just the girls, enjoying a spot of tea.
Such a fun, sweet group of kiddos,
Jenny giving the birthday girl a hug.

Tea cup cupcakes for the kids.
I think Bria's face says it all.
"Happy Birthday dear Bria, happy birthday to you!"

And the mommies' cake. Love these ladies.
I think the party was a success!

What a joy and privilege it has been to watch Bria Jane grow. From the moment she was born, we knew there would never be a dull day with her in our lives, and we were right! She has blossomed into such a big girl with so much personality. We threw her into German school and she didn't bat an eye. She gets hurt on a daily basis and brushes herself off with seldom a tear. She is adventurous and free-spirited. She loves any and every animal and there is barely room for her in bed between all the stuffed animals. She is strong, she is independent, she is fiery...she is our little Bria. You are my sunshine sweet girl!
